1. On Monday the Bank of Namibia held the official issuance of the upgraded a new generation of banknotes and coins — the third currency series since independence, and the first upgraded coinage series since 1993. Dr. Omu Kakujaha Matundu on importance of this.

2. The Bank of Namibia bulletin has released its September 2025 Quarterly Bulletin, which outlines international and domestic economic developments for the second quarter of the year.
Global GDP expanded by 3.5% in Q2 2025, compared to 3.3% in Q1.
