A. The judgment of defence lawyer, Sisa Namandje vs the Law Society of Namibia (LSN) that was due to be delivered on Friday 17 July 2020, has been postponed to 14 August 2020.

B. The United Nations warned that the coronavirus pandemic may push another 132 million people worldwide into chronic hunger by the end of the year.

C. The return of a ban on alcohol sales has stirred debate among South Africans as the government steps up efforts to reduce pressure on hospitals amid a rapid increase in coronavirus infections.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, in a televised address on Sunday, blamed the resumption of alcohol sales last month for burdening hospitals and clinics with related injuries, violence and trauma.
