Residents and leaders in the Kavango East region have commended former President Sam Nujoma for his role in initiating the Ndonga Linena Green Scheme in 2003.

Nujoma, often praised as a visionary in agricultural development, played a pivotal role in establishing the scheme, which has since transformed the local economy and improved livelihoods.

Mukwe Constituency Councillor Damian Maghambayi highlighted Nujoma’s efforts in negotiating with the Gciriku Traditional Authority to secure land for the project.
