Namibia’s export revenue saw a 5.3% growth between August and September this year, increasing from N$7.4 billion to N$7.8 billion, according to the latest merchandise report by the Namibia Statistics Agency.
For the first nine months of the year, Namibia earned N$74.9 billion, nearly N$5 billion more than the N$70 billion earned from exports during the same period last year.
During the same period, the country’s import bill decreased significantly, by 9.6%, compared to the N$12.3 billion recorded during the preceding month.
