President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah urged the Namibian Police Force, along with all stakeholders in the criminal justice system, to work tirelessly and vigorously to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice and that peace is restored in communities.

 

Nandi-Ndaitwah made these remarks during the graduation ceremony for Police Basic Training Intake 1/2024-2025 on Friday at the Oshakati Independence Stadium.

 

A total of 1,779 cadet constables from the Ruben ‘Danger’ Ashipala, Simon Mutumba, and Pius Joseph Kaundu Police Training Centers completed their nine-month training and are now ready to be deployed to their respective workplaces.

 

Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasised the importance of strengthening security forces to safeguard the well-being of every Namibian citizen.

 

She noted that the 8th administration reaffirms its strong stance of zero tolerance toward criminals and perpetrators of disgraceful crimes in society.
