The Sole Distributorship agreement between Goal Maize and Ondangwa Farmers Market has been found to be contravening the Competition Act section 23(1) for entering into an exclusive distributorship agreement.
According to the General Notice by the Namibia Competition Commission, number 8639 was gazetted in May 2025.
The Commission found that the distribution agreement made Ondangwa Farmers Market the sole distributor of Goal Maize products in Namibia’s northern regions namely, Kavango East; Kavango West; Kunene; Omusati; Oshana; Ohangwena; Oshikoto and Zambezi.
