Global economic uncertainty poses a significant challenge to Namibia’s ability to achieve the ambitious goals outlined in its sixth National Development Plan (NDP 6).

Establishing an independent Tax Court addresses long-standing constitutional concerns in Namibia, but the challenge lies in creating a specialized system that serves the needs of justice without outstripping the capacity of a constrained national
economy.
