With the alarming rise of cybercrime across the country, one question remains: are we truly cyber secure? Every day, criminals operate with ease across digital platforms such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and exploit weaknesses — often escaping scot-free. As technology evolves, so do their methods—and ordinary people are paying the price.

I remember one day, while travelling by public transport, overhearing a young man boldly explaining how he and others commit cybercrimes. His tone suggested a sense of impunity — as if to say, “I can talk about this, and there’s nothing you can do. You have no evidence against me.” And in many cases, that’s true.
