Namibia will be hosting the sixth edition of the U17 COSAFA Girls’ Championship from 10 May to 17 May 2025. The inaugural edition of the regional developmental tournament took place in Mauritius in 2019. The 2025 games will be played in Windhoek at the Hage Geingob Stadium. Past winners: Uganda (2019), Tanzania (2020), Zambia (2021), South Africa (2022), Zambia (2024).

It will not be Namibia’s first time hosting a COSAFA tournament, having hosted the COSAFA Qualifiers for the CAF African Schools Championship in October of last year – more on that later.
