Topic: Independent/Social Media Versus Mainstream.

For a very long time, information dissemination was mostly mainstream media based, but for the past decade or two we have seen a significant rise in MSM independent journalism, podcasts, blogs and vlogs etc. Is this a good or bad thing for consumers?
