FNB Namibia has issued a warning to online banking users, urging caution against cybercriminals amidst a surge in online shopping activities.
Ingrid Katjiukua, the bank’s Forensic Manager, emphasised the importance of vigilance in light of evolving scam tactics.
“As technology evolves, so do scams, becoming increasingly sophisticated. We urge customers to exercise caution when using their cards on unfamiliar websites, links, or online platforms, especially if the offer seems too good to be true,” Katjiukua cautioned.
