Namibia has exported commodities valued at N$95.7 million to Liberia between 2015 and 2022, as reported by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA).
The utilisation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) played a crucial role in facilitating this trade, aligning with the goals of Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want.
The AfCFTA aims to enhance economic cooperation among African nations, covering diverse economic aspects such as investment protection and digital commerce.
Namibia’s involvement in this ambitious trade deal has contributed to the growth in exports, with a notable 31% increase compared to the previous year.
