1. The managing director of National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) Immanuel Mulunga says Namibia needs to hurry to get its oil from the ground as soon a possible.
His remarks fellow after Namcor in partnership with Shell and QatarEnergy, this morning announced a light oil discovery in the Jonker-1X deep-water exploration well.
2.The Supreme Court dismisses a bail appeal by six of the fishrot accused.
3. Health minister Kalumbi Shangula during the National Management Development Forum said it is imperative to expand services to ensure that all Namibians are able to access them.
4. The Namibian police force commenced a four day training workshop for community affairs, community policing, and public relations officers on public and media information strategies. The workshop is said to run from 6 until 9 March.
5.Opuwo Town Council, along with other private sponsors, spearheaded the long-awaited Opuwo third division football league over the weekend.
