A. Namibia is hunting for a new prosecutor general to replace Martha Imalwa who has been at the helm since 2004.
B. The Labour Ministry said 9117 employees were retrenched in the first 7 months of this year. This represents roughly 1302 workers sent home per month.
C. The Oshana regional council understated their assets by N$ 146 072 208 during the 2018/2019 financial year.
D. The Namibia Rugby Union increased the salaries and wages of the foreign staff members by 50% while the locals’ decreased by 30%.
